Desk : A helicopter operated by Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura, eastern Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, killing all 14 people on board, according to state media reports.
The helicopter was reportedly on a routine operational mission when the accident occurred. Emergency and rescue teams were immediately deployed to the site, but no survivors were found.
Saudi authorities said the cause of the crash remains unknown and a detailed investigation has been launched. Aramco expressed condolences over the incident and stated that it is fully cooperating with the investigating authorities.
The incident comes amid a series of recent aviation-related events reported in different parts of the world, including an accident in France reported earlier, although no official link between the incidents has been established.
