Riyadh: India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited Riyadh and held high-level meetings with senior Saudi ministers and officials to discuss bilateral cooperation and key regional developments.
During the visit, Doval met Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban. The discussions focused on strengthening ties between India and Saudi Arabia, along with cooperation in energy, investment, and security matters.
Regional developments in West Asia and issues of mutual strategic interest also figured prominently in the talks. The visit comes at a time when geopolitical dynamics in the region continue to evolve, making close coordination between key partners increasingly important.
India and Saudi Arabia have significantly expanded their strategic partnership in recent years, particularly in the areas of trade, energy security, counter-terrorism, and defence cooperation. Officials believe Doval’s visit will further deepen ties and enhance coordination on regional and global issues.
