New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday paid tribute to the victims and martyrs of the Pahalgam terror attack on its anniversary, reaffirming that India will never bow before terrorism.
In his message, the Prime Minister remembered those who lost their lives in the deadly attack and expressed solidarity with their families. He said the nation stands united in honoring the sacrifice of innocent civilians and security personnel killed in the incident.
Recalling the tragedy, PM Modi said the attack had deeply shocked the entire country. He added that the courage and sacrifice of the victims would always be remembered by the nation.
Reiterating India’s firm stand against terrorism, the Prime Minister said no force can weaken the country’s resolve. He stressed that India remains committed to defeating terrorism and protecting its unity and integrity.
Meanwhile, security was heightened in and around Pahalgam on the anniversary of the attack. Additional personnel were deployed in sensitive areas, and thorough checks were being conducted as a precautionary measure.
Tribute ceremonies were also held to remember those who lost their lives, with local residents, officials, and visitors paying homage to the martyrs.
