New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh while addressing ADMM-Plus, a meeting of ASEAN defense ministers, said that our structure is another pillar of our strength, as it includes the defense ministries of 18 major countries, which are the major stakeholders in the regional security dynamic.
He said, ” We need to continue our efforts” to address the threats of bioterrorism, transnational trafficking and pandemic diseases. In the last decade, ADMM has enhanced peace and stability in the region.”
Let us know that today i.e. December 10th is the tenth anniversary of ASEAN, because of that this meeting has been organized. Rajnath Singh informed on Wednesday that he will address the meeting of ministers. This meeting is being virtualized due to Corona virus infection. Last year, Rajnath Singh attended the (ADMM-Plus) in Bangkok and the opening ceremony of Defence and Security 2019 Exhibition.
It is worth mentioning that during this meeting last year, Rajnath Singh had targeted Pakistan without naming any country, saying that state-sponsored terrorism is not only a painful cancer, but also the reasons that pose a threat to security.
