Tokyo Paralympics 2020:
Today has been a very special day for India in the Tokyo Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara clinched gold and equalled the World Record in the Women’s R2 10m air rifle standing SH1. Yogesh Kathuniya bagged silver in the Men’s Discus Throw F56 event. Devendra Jhajharia won silver as Sundar Singh Gurjar bagged bronze in the Men’s Javelin Throw F46 Final. Javelin Throwers Sumit Antil and Sandeep Choudhary will also be in action in the Men’s F64. In shooting, Deepak Saini and Swaroop Unkalkar will take part in the Men’s R1 10 m air rifle standing SH1 qualification.
