Desk : Global banking giant JPMorgan Chase has come under scrutiny after serious allegations were levelled against its senior executive, Lorna Hajdini. A former colleague has filed a lawsuit in the New York County Supreme Court, accusing her of sexual abuse, drugging, racial harassment, and threats.
According to court documents, the complainant, referred to as “John Doe” for legal reasons, has alleged that the incidents began around 2024 when both were working in the same department.
The complaint states that the accused allegedly drugged the colleague in an attempt to exert control, subjected him to repeated non-consensual sexual acts, and made racially derogatory remarks, including calling him a “brown boy Indian.” It is further alleged that she threatened to destroy his career and terminate his employment.
The lawsuit also claims that the accused misused her senior position to pressure and mentally harass the complainant.
JPMorgan Chase has strongly denied all allegations, stating that its internal investigation has not found any evidence supporting the claims. The accused executive has also rejected the allegations, calling them false and baseless.
The matter is currently under judicial consideration in the New York court, and further proceedings are underway.
