Israel’s Netanyahu Says Qatar Funds Hamas, Strike “Justified”

Desk : Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel and the United States are engaged in a “battle of civilisation against barbarism,” referring to Iran.

Benjamin Netanyahu made the remarks during a press conference held during the visit of Argentine President Javier Milei. He accused Iran of spreading terror, seeking Israel’s destruction, and attempting to weaken Western civilisation.

“We have achieved enormous things. It is not over yet. Any moment could bring new developments,” Netanyahu said.

Tensions Continue in Southern Lebanon

Meanwhile, the Israeli military claimed it had killed an armed individual who crossed the so-called “Yellow Line” in southern Lebanon. However, no evidence was publicly released to support the claim.

The “Yellow Line” is a military zone extending roughly 10 kilometres north of the border inside southern Lebanon, where Israel intends to maintain control. Israeli officials say the move is aimed at eliminating the presence of Hezbollah.

The Lebanese army, meanwhile, said it had begun removing an earthen barrier erected by Israeli forces on a road in Tyre and had also established a surveillance point in the area. Since the ceasefire took effect, Lebanese authorities have been working to restore damaged infrastructure.

Strikes Continue in Gaza

In Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks continued. A child was killed in one strike, according to Palestinian media reports. The victim was identified as Hala Salem Darwish, killed east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp.

In a separate incident, a drone strike targeting a motorcycle on Salah al-Din Street northeast of Nuseirat camp killed Ayman Khaled Abu Hasna, 38, and injured several others.
