Tokyo Paralympics: A triple-medal Friday for India at the Tokyo Paralympics as Harvinder Singh won a bronze to become the first Indian to win a medal in archery. It began with a silver medal in the Men’s High Jump T64 event with debutant Praveen Kumar’s clearance of 2.07m for a new Asian Record and a second-place finish.

Shooter Avani Lekhara then continued her medal run, adding a 50m 3P SH1 bronze to the gold she had won earlier. India’s medals tally stands at 13 now.
