Desk:In a powerful response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, India has carried out precision strikes on multiple terrorist camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Without crossing the border, Indian forces hit nine terror targets from within Indian territory, destroying key facilities of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). This carefully coordinated retaliation has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Sources reveal that during the Pahalgam attack, the terrorists targeted male tourists based on their religion. In a chilling moment, the attackers spared a newlywed woman, telling her, “Tell Modi.” This statement added a disturbing political message to the incident.
The Indian response came swiftly and decisively. The strikes were part of a joint operation involving all three branches of the Indian Armed Forces. Targets included Jaish’s headquarters in Bahawalpur, Punjab (Pakistan) and Lashkar’s base in Muridke, both of which were reportedly decimated. Importantly, no Pakistani military installations were targeted, focusing solely on eliminating terror infrastructure.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is said to have personally monitored the operation in real-time during the night-time missile strikes, underscoring the gravity of the response and the high level of coordination involved.
