New Delhi: Shashi Tharoor, who is set to lead an all-party delegation on a foreign tour aimed at exposing Pakistan on Operation Sindoor and terrorism, has made his intentions clear before departing. Ahead of his visit to five countries, Tharoor stated that the nation will no longer remain silent on terrorism. This mission will remind the world of the values India stands for. Tharoor is leading one of the seven delegations heading abroad. Despite not being named by the Congress party, Prime Minister Modi and the central government have shown confidence in him by including him in the delegation.
Before leaving for the United States, Tharoor posted a video on social media. In the video, he said, “I am leading an all-party delegation on a visit to five countries: Guyana, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, and the United States. We are going there to speak on behalf of the country, to highlight this grave crisis where terrorists have attacked our nation in the most brutal manner.”
Tharoor expressed his resolve, saying the goal is to highlight the values India has supported for years and which now require protection worldwide. He added, “We need to speak with full confidence for our country. We must send a message to the world that we will not remain silent on terrorism, and we do not want the world to ignore us on this issue. We don’t want indifference to triumph over truth.”
The Congress MP concluded, “This is a mission that one day will remind the world that India stands for all those values that we believe are essential to maintaining peace, democracy, and freedom in the world today — not for terror, hatred, and murder.”
