Desk: India has now begun responding to Pakistan’s nefarious activities on the Line of Control (LoC). Late Thursday evening, India shot down several Pakistani drones along the border. Additionally, India also brought down a Pakistani AWACS aircraft. Following India’s strong retaliatory strikes, Pakistan’s government has issued a statement.
The Pakistani government has stated that they are fully vigilant and committed to peace. They also mentioned that Pakistan will not be deterred by provocative actions, threats, or attempts to mislead, and reserves the right to respond to aggression. Alongside this, Pakistan has dismissed allegations of attacks on Indian cities like Pathankot, Jaisalmer, and Srinagar.
India’s aggressive response targeted five Pakistani cities
It is noteworthy that in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, under Operation Sindoor, Pakistan carried out drone, missile, and fighter jet attacks in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur, and Jaisalmer, all of which were unsuccessful due to India’s S-400 and Akash air defense systems.
Not only this, but Pakistan’s two JF-17 jets manufactured by China, American-made F-16 jets, and AWACS were also shot down at their border.
These three warplanes were advancing with the aim of attacking India. After ejecting their aircraft, two Pakistani pilots were arrested in Jaisalmer and Akhnoor.
Firing quickly on the border
Pakistan has rapidly intensified firing on the Line of Control and the international border in Jammu and Kashmir. After this, India rained missiles and drones on nine major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Siyalkot, and Bahawalpur.
Late-evening attacks have resulted in an emergency meeting of the chiefs of all three armies led by the CDS. It is understood that in this meeting, Pakistan has decided to take strong action for its vigilance, and the decision has been made to take strong action.
