Desk:A powerful bomb explosion has rocked Quetta Railway Station in Pakistan, killing at least four people and injuring over 25, according to initial reports. The blast occurred near the ticket counter amidst a large crowd just before a train was scheduled to depart. The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital, and authorities fear the death toll may rise.
Rescue teams have arrived at the scene, and police have launched an investigation into the incident. Reports suggest that two separate explosions occurred in Quetta city, with the second blast injuring around 15 more individuals. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for these attacks.
Such terrorist incidents have become increasingly frequent in Pakistan. Just recently, a bomb blast in North Waziristan claimed the lives of four security personnel, and another explosion near Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in the deaths of four children. A week ago, an explosion near a school in Balochistan killed police officers and five young students. Polio vaccination teams have also been targeted repeatedly in these violent attacks.
