New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the Indo-Japan Dialogue Conference on Monday. Modi said that this forum has contributed significantly in promoting the ideas of Lord Buddha. Buddha’s message reached India from many parts of the world. The literature and philosophy of Buddha is present in the monasteries of many countries and in many languages. I would like to have a library of literature related to Buddha. We are ready to make it in India, we will provide necessary resources for it.
While focusing on meeting challenges with Buddha’s message, Modi said that it will also be a platform for library research and dialogue. This will enable proper communication between the common people and scientists as well as between humans and nature. The results of research conducted through this dialogue will also help to find out how the Buddha’s message can guide us in dealing with the current challenges.
