Desk: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has been strongly condemned, with the entire world standing in solidarity with India. Meanwhile, U.S. Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard has called the Pahalgam attack an Islamic attack and assured that America will help India in capturing the terrorists responsible for it. Gabbard stated that the U.S. stands with India during this difficult time.
On Friday, in a post on the social media platform X, Tulsi Gabbard wrote, “We stand in solidarity with India against the horrific Islamic terrorist attack in Pahalgam that targeted 26 Hindus. My prayers and condolences are with those who lost their loved ones, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the people of India.” She added, “We are with you, and we will assist you in capturing those responsible for this heinous attack.”
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump condemned the terrorist attack in Kashmir, stating that the U.S. stands firmly with India in the fight against terrorism. Following the attack, he spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the phone. Trump posted on Truth Social, saying, “We received deeply disturbing news from Kashmir. The United States stands firmly with India in the fight against terrorism. We pray for the souls of the victims and the recovery of the wounded. Our full support and deepest sympathies are with Prime Minister Modi and the people of India.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin also condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, calling it a heinous crime and stating that there can be no justification for such attacks. He expressed deep condolences for the tourists who were killed in the attack and emphasized the need for international unity in the fight against terrorism.
On Tuesday, April 22, terrorists in Pahalgam, Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, killed 26 people. Several others were injured in the attack. Most of the victims were tourists from different parts of India who had come to Kashmir for sightseeing. According to reports, the terrorists asked the victims about their religion before killing them. The police and Indian Army are currently searching for the terrorists involved in the attack.
