New Delhi: In a press briefing on Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs has strongly condemned the targeted killing of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir and said, “What’s happening in Kashmir is strongly condemnable. Targeted killing of innocent people. We are concerned about cross-border terrorism. We will raise it at every meeting with all partners and make efforts that the international community should make in this regard.”

On Thursday, a school principal and a teacher were shot dead by unidentified militants in the Safa Kadal area of Srinagar. This comes two days after the owner of a popular pharmacy in Srinagar, Makhan Lal Bindroo, was shot by militants near his shop in Srinagar’s Iqbal Park area.
