On the very first day, US President Joe Biden signed several decisions, most notably the Paris Climate Agreement. The White House has reported that the US will return to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Biden announced to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement. He made this promise to the people of the country during the election. Not only this, Joe Biden signed a decision to control the pandemic intended to intensify the war against the corona virus. According to this order, he has made it mandatory to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
In addition, Joe Biden overturned Donald Trump’s decision to end the ‘Muslim Travel Ban’ in the US. Under this, Trump had banned travel of some Muslim countries and African countries to America. Keystone is an oil pipeline that carries crude oil from the Canadian province of Alberta to the US states of Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas. Biden spoke out against the Keystone XL pipeline and said that we don’t need tar sands. A key promise of Biden’s presidential campaign was the commitment to cancel the Keystone XL project.
