Desk: In Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army displayed exceptional valor by crossing into Pakistan, not only eliminating terrorists and destroying their training camps but also exposing Pakistan’s terrorist activities to the world. Amidst this, India’s Ambassador to Israel, JP Singh, made a significant statement saying that India’s military campaign against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor is only paused, not over. He demanded that just as the U.S. handed over 26/11 accused Tahawwur Rana to India, Pakistan should also hand over terrorists like Hafiz Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, and Sajid Mir to India.
India’s Message – Terrorists Will Be Eliminated Wherever They Are
In an interview with Israeli TV channel i24, Ambassador JP Singh clarified that India has now adopted an aggressive stance against terrorism, which has become the new norm. He stated, “Our policy is clear — eradicating terrorism is our top priority. Operation Sindoor is currently on pause, but not finished. As long as terrorists and their networks exist, India will continue to take action.”
Demand to Hand Over Hafiz, Lakhvi, and Mir
Citing the example of the U.S. handing over Tahawwur Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, to India, Singh said, “Pakistan should also hand over Hafiz Saeed, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, and Sajid Mir to India. We have shared evidence, dossiers, and technical intelligence. Yet these terrorists roam freely.”
Who Are Sajid Mir and Lakhvi?
Sajid Mir and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi are top terrorists of the Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba. Sajid Mir is the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, having coordinated the attack via phone calls from Pakistan after terrorists reached Mumbai by boat. The U.S. and India possess voice recordings, call data, and witness testimonies confirming this. Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi is Lashkar-e-Taiba’s operational chief and main conspirator behind the 26/11 attacks.
Strike on Nur Khan Airbase a ‘Game Changer’
JP Singh revealed that after India’s strike on Pakistan’s Nur Khan Airbase on May 10, panic gripped Islamabad. He claimed, “Pakistan’s DGMO himself contacted India to request a ceasefire.” Singh linked the terrorist attack in Pahalgam to Operation Sindoor, saying, “Terrorists asked victims about their religion before shooting. Twenty-six innocent civilians were killed in this attack.” Responding firmly to Pakistan’s characterization of the Indus Water Treaty as an “act of war,” Singh said, “We let the water flow, and Pakistan gave us terrorism. Prime Minister Modi has made it clear — ‘blood and water cannot flow together.’ As long as terrorism continues, the Indus Water Treaty will remain suspended.”
India-Israel Launch Counterterrorism Front
Speaking about global cooperation, JP Singh said, “Countries like India and Israel must unite to form an alliance against terrorism and states that support it.” He rejected Pakistan’s offer to investigate the Pahalgam attack, stating, “What happened to the investigations of Mumbai, Pathankot, and Pulwama? Nothing. These are just diversion tactics.”
