India’s 5 Big Actions After Pahalgam Attack

New Delhi: Tensions between India and Pakistan are escalating. Over the past two nights, Pakistan attempted drone strikes on India, which were intercepted mid-air. In response, the Indian government has made a significant decision. According to sources, any terrorist attack against India will now be considered an act of war, with a corresponding military response.

This decision underscores that India will no longer tolerate terrorist attacks from Pakistan. Following an attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed 26 lives and injured many others, including targeting Indian tourists based on their religion, there has been widespread outrage against Pakistan across the country.

India responded with “Operation Sindoor” against terrorist positions in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, conducting airstrikes that neutralized over 100 militants, including ten members of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar’s family. Despite Pakistan’s retaliatory drone strikes targeting several cities including Jammu with 400 drones on Thursday night, India’s air defense systems successfully thwarted these attacks.

Friday night saw Pakistan attempting drone attacks again on 26 Indian cities, all of which were successfully intercepted. India retaliated by targeting six Pakistani airbases with precision weapons from Indian combat aircraft, primarily focusing on command and control centers, radar installations, and ammunition depots. The Indian military ensured minimal collateral damage during these retaliatory actions.
