Colombo: Former Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe revealed in Parliament on Monday that India had already warned about the Easter attacks. But the police had failed to act on the information provided by India. On 21 April 2019, Easter Sunday, three churches in Sri Lanka and three luxury hotels in Colombo, were targeted in a series of coordinated Islamist terrorist suicide bombings. In this, 270 people including 11 Indians died. Wickremesinghe was the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka at the time of the attack.
