UN: The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine had created a situation of tension in the whole world including Middle-East Asia. Now India has called for the beginning of peace talks by reducing the tension between the two countries. India on Thursday voted in favor of Palestine at a session of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and supported the establishment of an independent, capable and democratic state. India also talked about ending the conflict that has been going on for many years in the Middle East. India appealed for peace talks between Israel and Palestine, saying that both countries should respect the ceasefire.
At the UN Security Council session, Vikas Swarup, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs said that India is committed to the establishment of an independent, viable, democratic state of Palestine.
