Islamabad: Thomas Fielder, serving as the Second Secretary at the German Embassy in Pakistan, was found dead in his apartment in Islamabad, police confirmed on Monday.
Fielder resided in his flat at Karakoram Heights, located within the Diplomatic Enclave area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Secretariat Police Station.
According to Express News, concerns arose among embassy staff after Fielder failed to report to work for two consecutive days. Upon breaking into his apartment, they found him unconscious. The Islamabad police were immediately informed, and his body was later transferred to a hospital.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. However, Duty Officer Irshad from the Secretariat Police Station stated that Fielder had a history of heart disease and was undergoing treatment at Kulsoom Hospital in Islamabad. The police are conducting a thorough investigation in coordination with the embassy to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
