Durga word represents fearlessness and inner strength which means if we are strong from inside, we will be fearless and always ready to face the challenges and problems that comes in our life. Maa Durga also known as Asthbhuji because she had eight hands which represents the multitasking, by which one can do different job at a time and save time and perform with full capacity in accomplishing objective.
Maa comes in nine avatar and we worship her each awatar which taught us a valuable management lesson. The first avatar of Shailputri symbolizes of peace, firmness and calmness that is very important in life. Second day worshipped as Maa Brahmcharini symbolises the will power and firm determination that maa showed in tapasya to get lord Shiva as her husband. Such dedication and will power is very important for doing work and performing duty. The Chandraghanta avatar of Maa is the courage that made demon to run with fear. Similarly, the courage is required by human to face the difficulties that come to in our daily life. Courageous human face the problem calmly and found out the solution of all the problems that comes in his life. Maa kushmanda is the creation of universe which symbolises the innovation and invention that are needed in today’s era for the progress of society. Skandmata Swaroop who is mother of Lord Kartikeya and also gave knowledge to Kalidas who wrote mega epics, symbolise that leader should nurture employee with affection and provide training and guidance for accomplishing the task. Maa Katyayni is inspiration to women. She inspires the women to accept challenge and win it with inherent strength as Maa accepted challenge of Mahisasur and made society free from his sin. Seventh Swaroop of maa worshiped as Kalratri which teaches us the lesson to be away from darkness and negativity that comes in our life and move towards light and positivity. Maha Gauri avatar displays the peace, knowledge which is very essential to move in life and liberate. Lesson learns is that we should always be calm in adverse situation and find the best solution peacefully with our knowledge. The ninth Swaroop of Maa is Siddhidatri which means giver of meditative ability. Maa Siddhidatri possess 8 types of siddhis which she gave to Lord Shiva and he transform into Ardhnarishwar. The lesson learnt are that one must remove ignorance and gain the knowledge in order to take good decision. Another valuable lesson is that man and women are equal and one is incomplete without other. Both man and women are equal in performing task to accomplish the goals and they must be treated qual without any gender biasness and with full dignity.
