Recently, several Pakistani leaders, including Defense Minister Khwaja Asif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, made provocative remarks escalating tensions. The April 22 Pulwama attack has heightened concerns about Pakistani militants.
According to CNN News18 sources, the Pakistani government is keen to avoid provocative statements that could escalate tensions further. They are worried that worsening economic conditions could exacerbate the situation.
Pakistan has activated radar systems in response to potential Indian airstrikes, particularly in the Sialkot sector. There has been increased military activity near the Firozpur sector as well. Recently, Pakistan deployed TP-77 radars at Chhor Cantt, just 58 km from the border, capable of monitoring air traffic and playing crucial roles in defense. Additionally, increased aircraft movements have been observed near Lahore and Rawalpindi, close to Karachi in the north.
