Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has said that its fighters set on fire the installations of telecommunication companies at Margat’s Chokhobi Wadh area of Quetta Balochistan on June 26 and have captured six of its staff members.
In an official statement, the spokesperson of the pro-freedom resistance organisation ‘Azad Baloch’, said that the first three men had been released on the same day while the others were found to be suspicious and are still in the custody of the BLA.
He further said that the outfit decided that if the United Nations (UN) or international organisations including representatives of the Red Cross in Geneva act as guarantors for the release of rest of the men and provide assurance that these men will not again work for spy networks of the Pakistani army they will release the rest of the hostages. The BLA said that these men should not return to work in such ‘exploitative projects’.
