New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has been in the news ever since the US came forward to deal with the crisis created by the second wave of Corona in India. Ajit Doval spoke to his American counterpart Jake Sullivan on the issue. It was only after this conversation that the US National Security Advisor and then President Joe Biden promised India to supply raw materials for the covishield vaccine. Ajit Doval has been in the top trend of Twitter since this announcement. Many Twitter users say that where there is Ajit Doval, there is a way. Ajit Doval, who brought America from denial to agreement, is being praised. Meanwhile, Air India aircraft has left for Delhi carrying 318 oxygen concentrators from John F Kennedy International Airport. Apart from this, countries like United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia have also offered to help India in the supply of oxygen.
The US has asked its nearest airbase to airlift oxygen generators. The supply of raw materials for Remdesivir Injection and Covishield Vaccine should also be started. The US has said that it is making every effort to supply vaccine raw materials to India.
US President Joe Biden also tweeted earlier today, “Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need.”
Ajit Doval also held talks with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Tankers for oxygen supply have been sought along with other equipment. It is learnt both the UAE and Saudi Arabia have assured help to India. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is also holding series of talks with various countries to import medicines, oxygen and tankers for fighting the deadly wave of the pandemic, efforts are being made at multiple levels of government to augment the supply chain.
According to official sources, the UAE has reported that it is sending a large consignment of the vaccine to India. Apart from this, oxygen generators are also being supplied from Saudi Arabia. A large number of oxygen generators are also being supplied from the UK. India has so far received assurances from a total of 9 countries to help in the Corona crisis. Countries like Germany, Canada, USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, France and Pakistan have been offered to help India deal with the Corona crisis.
