Jammu: The Indian army has demolished a network of Jaish-e-Mohammed with the help of CRPF and police in Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir. The six arrested terror associates have been in contact with Pakistani handlers and have targeted security forces by lobbing grenades upon security forces in recent past, the police said, according to ANI.
Police have also recovered explosive material from the terrorists’ associates. Along with this, a case has also been registered against all.
Last month, the police arrested two people from Awantipora area. Police had said that those arrested were linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed militants. One of these was Bilal Ahmed Chopan of Trial and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh of Chatlam Pampore.
Police said that these people assisted the terrorists. These people kept in touch with the terrorists and provided them with a place to stay and weapons.
