Srinagar: A drone has been spotted in the state of Jammu and Kashmir carrying 5kg IED was shot down by forces in Akhnoor during the wee hours of today. The IED was found wrapped over the drone when it was acquired by the forces after being shot down.

The drone was flying about 7 to 8 km inside the border. It had six big wings and was a tetra-copter. The development comes close on the heels of a twin drone attack at the Air Force station in Jammu. The incident had left two officials injured.
