“Innovation is deeply embedded in India’s DNA. For thousands of years, Bharat has guided the world with its knowledge and breakthroughs. From mathematics and astronomy to medicine and yoga, India’s contributions have been foundational to humanity. Today, we are building upon this rich heritage with renewed direction and momentum,” he said.

The Prime Minister noted India’s transformation over the past decade, stating that the world once viewed India primarily as a technology adopter, whereas today it is emerging as a global technology provider.

“Today, India is rapidly becoming a technology provider. Innovations originating from Bharat have the potential to benefit a large part of humanity. Bharat Innovates is an invitation to the world to collaborate and co-create the next chapter of global innovation,” he added.

He further emphasized that India’s innovation policy is rooted in human welfare. Referring to advancements in artificial intelligence, he highlighted the vision of “AI for All,” aimed at ensuring inclusive growth and equitable access to technology.

“Today, India’s priority is technology that serves humanity. Our digital revolution is guided by people-centric innovation. The concept of ‘AI for All’ is central to ensuring happiness and welfare for every individual,” PM Modi said.

Held in the French city of Nice from June 14 to 16, Bharat Innovates 2026 is a key event under the India–France Year of Innovation. It brings together 120 Indian deep-tech innovators, 15 leading higher education institutions, and over 500 global investors, including venture capital firms and industry leaders.

The conclave focuses on 13 strategic sectors, including semiconductors, space technology, advanced computing, biotechnology, and healthcare. It aims to enable technology validation, pilot projects, and manufacturing partnerships to help Indian startups scale globally.

PM Modi is also scheduled to visit Evian and Paris in the coming days, where he will participate in broader multilateral engagements, including high-level discussions at the G7 Summit alongside global leaders.
