New Delhi : India has gifted a consignment of medical equipment to Afghanistan as part of its continued efforts to support the country’s healthcare sector and strengthen humanitarian cooperation between the two nations.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the medical assistance has been provided with the objective of enhancing Afghanistan’s healthcare infrastructure and improving access to quality medical services for its people. The equipment is expected to bolster the operational capacity of hospitals and healthcare institutions across the country.
India has remained a longstanding development partner of Afghanistan and has consistently extended support in key sectors such as healthcare, education, food security, and infrastructure.
