Desk : National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has strongly asserted that any form of “double standards” in the global fight against terrorism is unacceptable. He emphasized that terrorism, in any form, in any country, and for any motive, must be dealt with through a uniform and firm approach.
Doval made these remarks at an international security forum held in Moscow, where top security officials from several countries were present.
In his address, he stressed that terrorists, their sponsors, financiers, and support networks cannot be treated differently under varying standards. He said that lasting global security cannot be achieved unless the entire ecosystem of terrorism is dismantled.
The NSA further stated that terrorism is no longer a problem limited to a single nation or region, but has become a global threat that requires collective and unbiased action from all countries.
He also underlined the need to strengthen international cooperation, intelligence sharing, and joint efforts to effectively combat terrorism.
India has consistently maintained on international platforms that any leniency or selective approach in dealing with terrorism weakens global security efforts.
Doval’s statement is being seen as a reaffirmation of India’s long-standing position that calls for a unified global policy against terrorism.
