New Delhi. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has drawn a comparison between the global perception of India and Pakistan, stating that India is now widely respected across the world, while Pakistan’s image is often associated with negative factors.
Speaking at a public event, Rajnath Singh said that India’s growing international stature is the result of its strong democratic framework, economic progress, and responsible role on the global stage. He added that India has built a reliable and respected identity through its consistent commitment to stability and development.
Referring to Pakistan, the Defence Minister said that its global perception has frequently been linked to issues such as instability and terrorism. Without directly naming incidents, he indicated that these factors have significantly influenced how the international community views both countries differently.
He further reiterated India’s clear and firm stance against terrorism, stating that the country does not tolerate any form of destabilizing or extremist activity. He emphasized that India remains committed to regional peace and stability.
The remarks are being seen in the broader context of India’s foreign policy approach, where the country continues to strengthen its global image as an emerging power while maintaining a firm position on security-related challenges.
