New Delhi : In a major breakthrough against international drug trafficking networks, Indian security agencies have succeeded in bringing back alleged drug syndicate operator Salim Dola from Turkey. Upon his arrival in Delhi, he was taken into custody by security agencies, and interrogation has begun.
According to official sources, Salim Dola has long been associated with international drug trafficking networks and organized crime activities. Investigating agencies consider him a key associate within the network linked to fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim, allegedly involved in managing drug operations spread across India and several foreign countries.
Reports suggest that Dola was detained in Turkey as part of a coordinated international operation involving local authorities and intelligence agencies. Following legal procedures and cooperation between agencies, he was deported to India.
Officials indicate that the case is connected to a large-scale drug trafficking syndicate valued at several thousand crore rupees, with operations spanning multiple countries. The network is believed to be involved in the distribution and smuggling of synthetic narcotics.
After being brought to India, the Narcotics Control Bureau and other agencies have begun detailed questioning. He is likely to be handed over to Mumbai and other state agencies where multiple cases are already registered against him.
Security agencies believe that this development may lead to significant revelations regarding international drug cartels and organized crime networks operating across borders.
