Pradosh Vrat is a significant observance dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. On this auspicious day, 
devotees worship the divine couple with full devotion. It is believed that observing this fast helps in attaining desired wishes and blessings from Mahadev. Pradosh Vrat is observed twice a month—once during the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon) and once during the Krishna Paksha (waning moon), totaling two Pradosh Vrats every month.
When is the First Pradosh Vrat in May 2025?
According to the Hindu Panchang, the Shukla Paksha Trayodashi of Vaishakh month will begin on May 9, 2025, at 2:56 PM, and end on May 10 at 5:29 PM. Since the Trayodashi Tithi is prevailing during the early morning (Udaya Tithi) on May 9, the first Pradosh Vrat will be observed on May 9, 2025.

When is the Second Pradosh Vrat in May 2025?
As per the Vedic Panchang, the Krishna Paksha Trayodashi of Jyeshtha month will begin on May 24 at 7:20 AM, and end on May 25, 2025, at 3:51 PM. Since the Trayodashi Tithi starts before sunrise on May 24, the second Pradosh Vrat will be observed on May 24, 2025.
