Desk:India is now increasingly vocal on global platforms regarding terrorism emanating from Pakistan. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians, India has started exposing Pakistan’s role behind this brutal incident. In this regard, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar had an important conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Jaishankar shared details of the conversation on Twitter, stating, “Yesterday, we discussed the Pahalgam terror attack with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov. It is crucial to bring the perpetrators, supporters, and planners to justice. We also discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation.”
India’s Ongoing Efforts to Expose Pakistan
India has repeatedly stated that Pakistan is not only behind these attacks but also provides shelter and support to terrorist organizations operating from its soil. India has presented evidence against Pakistan at various international platforms in the past, and this time, India aims to ensure that a massacre like Pahalgam opens the eyes of the world.
India Seeks Support from Russia
India’s stance is clear – no more neutral investigations or Pakistani statements, but concrete action is needed. Therefore, India has also sought to involve Russia, a long-time strategic partner, to address this issue effectively.
