Ingredients to make Aam Panna:
- 2 raw mangoes
- 3–4 tablespoons sugar or jaggery
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 2 cups chilled water
- Ice cubes
- Mint leaves for garnish
How to make Aam Panna:
- First, wash the raw mangoes thoroughly and boil them until soft. (Alternatively, you can roast them for a smoky flavor.)
- Let them cool, then peel off the skin and scoop out the pulp.
- In a blender, add the mango pulp, sugar or jaggery, roasted cumin powder, black salt, black pepper powder, and chilled water.
- Blend everything well until smooth.
- Strain the mixture to remove any fibers or mango threads.
- Pour the drink into a glass over ice cubes, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and serve chilled.
