Confirmation from Jamaat-ud-Dawa

Jamaat-ud-Dawa confirmed Makki’s death in an official statement. The organization revealed that Makki had been unwell for some time and was battling severe diabetes. Despite medical treatment at a private hospital in Lahore, he died following a sudden heart attack on Friday morning.

Struggling with Illness

Makki had been suffering from diabetes and other health complications for the past few days. According to the organization, his condition had shown no signs of improvement, and he was under continuous medical supervision. Jamaat-ud-Dawa described his death as a significant loss for the group.

Under International Scrutiny

Makki had long been under the watch of international security agencies. Both the United States and the United Nations had designated him as a terrorist, and India held him accountable for the Mumbai attacks. His death is considered a major setback for the terror organization.
