- 2 small-sized raw potatoes
- Tamarind
- Dry red chili powder
- 7-8 black peppercorns
- 12-15 fenugreek seeds
- 1/4 tsp carom seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- 2 cups sugar
- Melon seeds
- 1 tsp clarified butter (desi ghee)

- Prepare the Potatoes
Wash the raw potatoes thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. - Blend the Base
Add the chopped potatoes and tamarind to a blender. Blend until smooth. - Toast the Spices
Heat a pan and dry roast black peppercorns, fenugreek seeds, carom seeds, and fennel seeds.
