Have you heard about Digestive Tea? It’s not just good for your digestion but also refreshingly tasty! Whenever you indulge in a heavy or spicy meal at home, make sure to prepare and sip on this tea. It will not only solve your digestion problems but also provide a soothing and delightful experience. Let’s learn how to make it.

Ingredients for Digestive Tea

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 packet of Hajmola (digestive tablet/powder)
  • Half a lemon
  • 2 teaspoons of jaggery
  • Mint leaves
  • 1/4-inch piece of ginger
  • Tea leaves

Recipe for Digestive Tea

  1. Boil the Water:
Take 2 cups of water in a pan and place it on the stove to boil.
  2. Add Jaggery and Mint:
Add jaggery to the boiling water along with mint leaves. If using dried mint leaves, add about 15-20 leaves, and if using fresh ones, 8-10 leaves will suffice.
  3. Add Tea Leaves and Ginger:
Once the mint is in, add 1 teaspoon of tea leaves and a 1-inch piece of ginger, crushed to release its flavor.
  4. Simmer the Mixture:
Let the mixture boil until it reaches a rolling boil and all the flavors are well-infused.
  5. Prepare the Cup:
In a cup, crush the Hajmola tablet or powder it finely and pour it into the cup.
  6. Strain the Tea:
Remove the pan from the stove and strain the tea into the prepared cup.
  7. Add Lemon Juice:
Finally, squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. The combination of lemon and Hajmola gives the tea its tangy and spicy twist.

Your tasty and refreshing Digestive Tea is now ready to enjoy!
