‘Omkaram’, an organization that plays an important role in the promotion of Indian culture and heritage is organising a quarterly series of programmes titled as ‘Ullas’ that include ‘Music concerts’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Ghat Kinare’ initiatives to generate awareness about organ donation, rejuvenate our rivers and its ghats and trigger various social issues from October 2022 to February 2023 in major cities of India.
‘Ullas’ under the aegis of ‘Omkaaram’ organization, is a quarterly series of mega concerts where renowned film composers, Bollywood singers, ghazal singers, percussionists etc. will showcase their talents. In this program, dinner will be arranged for the audience and information will be provided about important topics like organ donation.
In addition, ‘Ghat Kinare’ initiative will have daily, 365 days a year activity in seven cities across Uttar Pradesh which are known for their sacred ghats, where programmes like yoga, aarti, meditation, classical music, master classes, health camps etc. will be conducted.
It is worth mentioning that ‘Omkaaram’ organisation is a resolution to promote Indian culture and values in traditional and contemporary ways. ‘Omkaaram’ is a belief that every Indian should have a true understanding of his roots and be proud of it. The organization aims to take the youth back to their roots in interactive, entertaining and highly inspiring ways. Along with this, ‘Omkaaram’ is an effort to rejuvenate our rivers and ghats through continuous innovative activities.
Bharat Ojha, the official of the organization said that ‘Omkaaram’ firmly believes that the centuries-old ghats located in major North Indian cities like Banaras, Allahabad, Patna, Ayodhya, Haridwar, Mathura, Mukteshwar, Ujjain, Chitrakoot, Omkareshwar, Orchha and Amarkantak are ideal places to promote ancient Indian culture. Therefore, the programmes by Omkaaram will prove to be a milestone in the conservation of the rivers and ghats of our country and the promotion of their historicity and spiritual importance.
‘Omkaaram’ has been authorized by the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Ministry for the uniquely diverse programs and campaigns organized by them.
