Dubai: The Indian Consulate in Dubai will host a breakfast program for expat workers from January 1 every month. The move will be taken under the new Community outreach Program. The Indian Consular Office caters to Indian expats in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
The breakfast with the Consulate General will be organized in collaboration with Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra (PBSK). PBSK is a support center for Indians in the UAE.
The Consulate General will create awareness among Indian workers during breakfast. Gulf News newspaper said in the news published on Monday, “The goal of this outreach program is to create awareness among workers regarding financial literacy and planning, learning new skills, health checkups, services offered by PBSK and other information.”
The Consul General will have breakfast with Indians at their residence. During this time all the safety protocols of Covid-19 will be followed.
The first session of this outreach program will be held in February at the Larsen & Toubro Residential Complex in Dubai Investment Par.
Under this initiative, Dr. Aman Puri, the Consul General of India in Dubai will also visit a worker’s residence every month to make them feel that they are at home and we (The India consulate) are taking care of them.
