Extradited from the United States
Tahawwur Rana was brought to Delhi on Thursday via a special aircraft. Upon arrival at Palam Airport, he underwent a medical check-up before being escorted under heavy security to Patiala House Court. The court premises were turned into a high-security zone for the hearing. Heavy Security at Patiala House Court
Rana was brought to court in a high-security convoy that included a jail van, armored vehicle, and an ambulance. Prior to his appearance, Delhi Police restricted media personnel and the public from entering the court premises citing security concerns.
